Sizing: what size print will fit my wall, and how do I choose?

Every print ships in the same four catalog sizes — Small (8×10), Medium (11×14), Large (16×20), and Extra-Large (24×36) — at the same prices, framed or unframed. The rule of thumb is to pick the wall first, then the size: hold your arm out flat against it and read the breadth — the print should sit roughly two-thirds of that span to feel anchored. Framing: what options come with a print, and how much do they cost?

Slim matte black or natural walnut, both with a 1.5″ mat and museum-grade acrylic — the frame sits flush against the print edge, with no glass-to-paper shadow. The frame is a flat +$24 upcharge over the unframed price, added at checkout on the storefront listing. The exact framing × size pairings can shift by lab — most carry framed, but not every lab × size combination does. The canonical framing spec lives on the Sizes page, and the live buy-box (with the Framed +$24 toggle) is on every print’s product page — Sienna at Rest is a stable starting point. If a specific framed option isn’t visible on the storefront, open the contact form and the lab will be checked by hand.

Question 3

Shipping: how long does it take, and where does it ship from?

Accepted Answer

Every print is pressed fresh on order, then packed and shipped straight from the print lab to your door — typically 7–14 days from order to arrival. At checkout the storefront forwards the spec (size, paper, framed or unframed) to Printful or Printify (the two primary labs); Gelato, GoPrinti, Inkedjoy, and Art of Where are held in reserve for the long tail of sizes and finishes. Tracking comes back through the storefront you ordered from (Etsy or Shopify), not the studio.

Returns: what if my print arrives damaged or the wrong size?

Accepted Answer

Each print is pressed on demand in the size and frame combination chosen at checkout, so the studio doesn’t accept returns for a change of mind. If a print arrives damaged or wrong, write to the studio — every print is photographed before it leaves the lab, and the studio will replace it. The inbox is small and read by hand, so it is usually the fastest route to a real answer.

Materials: what is the print made of, and where is it made?

Accepted Answer

Two archival papers, both pressed on every order. The catalog’s open editions print on a 230gsm archival matte — acid-free, with a slight warm cast that holds a sunset gradient without going glossy. Limited pieces print on a 310gsm cotton rag, neutral white, for a quieter finish under a frame. Both are printed with archival pigment inks calibrated for fade resistance, freshly pressed from the same high-resolution master on every order — nothing sits in a spare room waiting to ship.
